Sukhbir Singh Badal from Shiromani Akali Dal managed to escape an assassination attempt when he was at the Golden Temple in Amritsar on 4th December 2024. The attacker, Narain Singh Chaura, was captured by Assistant Sub-Inspector Jasbir Singh who came in to nullify the attack.
